The Mitchell Electronics Family
Founder George Horwitz was proud to have three generations of his own family managing and operating the business. His daughter Nancy Lerner joined the company in the 1970’s. Her son, Jonathan Lerner joined the family business in 1982. Mitchell Electronics’ staff of 35 service, design, and production workers – as well as the many satisfied customers – round out the family that George established in 1956.

Over the years, Mitchell Electronics has grown at a steady pace, but has always maintained the commitment to its customers and family philosophy on which it was founded in 1956. Our facility is located near New York City. We are proud that all of our products are “Made In The USA.”
Mitchell Electronics is a registered US Department of Defense Military Supply house, and is a top-ten vendor for many major Fortune 500 companies. We use state-of-the-art equipment, technologies, and materials in the design and build of your transformers, and continue to work to develop new materials and methods for better transformers.
